Dual revolutionary technology

You can get quick and accurate temperature measurements, either with Touch mode by placing the thermometer on the forehead in between they eyebrows or in no touch mode by maintaining the thermometer up to 2 cm from the middle of the forehead, aiming between the eyebrows.

For accurate measurement, it is crucial that the temperature is taken at the right spot.

Age Precision technology with large LCD colour-coded display

The measured temperature is displayed on a colour-coded display, so you can interpret the results more easily.

Food & Liquid mode

Allows you to easily measure the temperature of your child’s food, drinks or bath.

Guidance system with proximity sensor & aiming light

The proximity sensor will help you guide the thermometer until the right distance to help you take the temperature correctly.

Additionally, an aiming light helps you to aim more easily at the right spot.

Remove protective cap & Power on

Remove the protective scanner cap before taking a measurement. Press and release the power button once. Backlight will come on and the start-up sequence begins.

NOTE: The thermometer and individual should be in the same ambiant temperature for at least 10 minutes. An individual must be inside for 30 minutes before taking a measurement.

Select age range

Select age range with Age Precision button.

Device will start cycling through the age ranges, highlighting the 3 ranges you may select; 0-3 months, 3-36 monts, or 36+months. Press the Age Precision button to toggle through the rage range until you select the age appropriate for the individual.

Position

Position thermometer on or up to 2.5 cm away from the center of the forehead, just between the eyebrows. When the thermometer is ready and on or 2.5 cm away from the forehead a horizontal line of dashes (“–“) will appear on the screen.

For No touch reading, the yellow guidance light will show you where you are aiming.

NOTE: If the eyebrow area is covered with hair, sweat or dirt, please clean the area beforehand to improve reading accuracy. It is important to hold the thermometer and the forehead steady during measurement. Movement will impact the temperature reading.

Take temperature

Three dashed lines mean the thermometer is ready to take a temperature. Press the temperature button. The display will show a dashed line animation while it takes a reading. Once the reading is complete a confirmation beep will be heard and the appropriate fever light color will be displayed on screen.

NOTE: If the device is positioned too far away from the forehead, it will prompt you to move closer by displaying the characters “0.-2 cm”. Slowly move the device toward the forehead until the dashed line animation starts and a reading is displayed.
